Abe Louise Young

Abe Louise Young, born in New Orleans, is the author of Queer Youth Advice for Educators: How to Respect and Protect Your LGBTQ Students and Hip Deep: Opinion, Essays, and Vision for American Teenagers. Her memoir “Landscapes with Lester” won Third Place in Narrative’s Winter 2013 Story Contest. Young holds degrees from Smith College, Northwestern University, and the University of Texas at Austin Michener Center for Writers. She lives in Austin.
