Amy Bloom is the author of six books, including the novel Away and the short story collection Where the God of Love Hangs Out (Random House, 2010). She is also a nominee for both the National Book Critics Circle Award and the National Book Award. Her stories have appeared in Best American Short Stories, Prize Stories: The O. Henry Awards, and numerous anthologies. Bloom lives in Connecticut and teaches at Yale University.
