Craig Bueltel holds a BA in English from Iowa State University. An Iowa native, he worked for ten years as an Organ and Tissue Procurement Specialist with the University of Iowa Transplant Team in Iowa City, while pursuing graduate courses in literature at the University of Iowa. The president of Bueltel Land & Cattle Co., he now lives in Louisville, Colorado, with his wife and four sons. “Uncle Peter” is an excerpt from a novel in progress.
