David Abrams

David Abrams was born in Pennsylvania and raised in Wyoming and received a BA from the University of Oregon and an MFA in creative writing from the University of Alaska. After working as a reporter for Montana newspapers he enlisted in the army, where he was named top military journalist in the Department of Defense in 1988. He is the author of several short stories, essays, and book reviews and lives in Butte, Montana, with his wife.
