Emily Raboteau

Emily Raboteau is the author of the novel The Professor’s Daughter. Her short stories have been widely published and anthologized in Best American Short Stories, Best American Mystery Stories, and Best African American Fiction. The recipient of a Pushcart Prize, a Nelson Algren Award, a New York Foundation of the Arts Fellowship, and a Literature Fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts, Raboteau lives in Harlem and teaches creative writing at the City College of New York.
