Eugene Cross

Eugene Cross was born in Pennsylvania and received his BA, as well as an MFA in fiction, from the University of Pittsburgh. He is the winner of the 2009 Dzanc Prize for Excellence in Literary Fiction and Community Service, and in 2010 he ran a series of writing workshops for Butanese, Sudanese, and Nepalese refugees living in Erie. His story “The Brother” previously appeared in Narrative and can be found in our Archive. Cross teaches creative writing at the Behrend College, Penn State Erie.
