Jackie Thomas-Kennedy holds a BA in English from Vassar College and an MFA in fiction writing from Columbia University School of the Arts. Her story “Jack-in-the-Pulpit” was a finalist in the Narrative30Below contest in 2008, and her story “You Cannot Lie about a Mountain” won First Place in Narrative’s 2008 Fall Fiction Contest. She has won numerous other awards for her stories and writes book reviews and occasional pieces for national periodicals. Thomas-Kennedy lives in Charlottesville, Virginia.
