Maud Newton

Maud Newton, winner of the 2009 Narrative Prize for her short story “When the Flock Changed,” first became known for the trail-blazing litblog she started in 2002, which is notable for its wide-ranging and artful commentary. At work on a book for Random House about the science and superstition of ancestry, Newton lives in Brooklyn.
