Melanie Gideon
Melanie Gideon was born and raised in Rhode Island and attended Emerson College in Boston. She is the author of two young adult novels, both noted as New York Public Library Books for the Teen Age: The Map That Breathed and Pucker, which was also an American Library Best Book finalist. Gideon lives in the Bay Area with her husband and son.
