Molly Giles

Molly Giles is the author of the story collections Rough Translations, winner of the Flannery O’Connor award and a Pulitzer Prize nominee, and Creek Walk and Other Stories. Her work has earned an O. Henry Prize and two Pushcart Prizes, as well as the National Book Critics Circle Award for Book Reviewing. A novel, Iron Shoes, was published in 2000, and a collection of short shorts, Bothered, in 2012. Giles directs the creative writing program at the University of Arkansas and commutes between Fayetteville and the Bay Area.
