Michelle Bitting grew up in Los Angeles and is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley. She has been widely published in literary journals and reviews and has won several awards for her poetry. She is the author of the chapbook Blue Laws, and her collection Good Friday Kiss received the inaugural DeNovo First Book Award. Bitting is a candidate for an MFA in Poetry at Pacific University, Oregon. Her short short story Little Gifts appears in our Archive.
