Five Poems
by Craig Morgan Teicher
Song Is Silence
The air is never still and never was.
One song was the leaves.
Another was the rustling
of trees in the wind.
Before there was air,
a sublime silence—
there was no one
a sublime silence—
there was no one
not to hear it.
