Tomás Q. Morín is a Texas native who received degrees from Texas State and Johns Hopkins. His poetry was included in Best New Poets 2007, and his poem “A Model for the Priesthood” was the third place winner in Narrative’s First Annual Poetry Contest. The recipient of scholarships from the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference, the New York State Summer Writers Institute, and the Fine Arts Work Center, Morín teaches writing and literature at Texas State University.
