Jessica Roeder was born in Chicago. She has published stories, poems, and essays, and her fiction has earned her a Pushcart Prize, a Loft-McKnight Award in Creative Prose, and a fellowship from Writers at Work. Roeder lives in Duluth, Minnesota, where she is completing a collection of linked short stories.
