Christopher Woods was born in Texas in 1950. He is the author of a novel, The Dream Collection; a prose collection, Under a Riverbed Sky; and a book of stage monologues for actors, Heart Speak. His plays have been produced in Chicago, Los Angeles, and New York City. Woods taught creative writing at Rice University Continuing Studies and at The Women’s Institute of Houston. He lives in Houston and in Chappell Hill, Texas, with his artist wife.
