Rebecca Foust is the author of the poetry collection All That Gorgeous Pitiless Song, winner of the Many Mountains Moving Book Prize as well as God, Seed: Poetry & Art from the Natural World, plus two chapbooks awarded the Robert Phillips Poetry Chapook Prize in consecutive years. Foust was born in Altoona, Pennsylvania, and earned a BA from Smith College, a JD from Stanford Law School, and an MFA from Warren Wilson College. She lives in the California Bay Area.
