I LOVE this!! I found myself wrapped up in each drawing, and was the glove a bird? A raven, maybe? Ha! I love your artistry and simplistic depth. Love to see more of this.
Beautifully done. I'm a big fan of Lynd Ward and Franz Masereel, and I'd love to see her try a story with NO words at all . . . Looking forward to more from Ms. Frye; perhaps she can escape the clutches of The Mouse and make her own way.
I clicked on to Narrative expecting to read a short story and was pleasantly surprised to find, read, and become engaged in these drawings. What a treat.
A great story, different, graphically vivid and enticing. I haven't seen-read anything like this since–ever, I would say. It somewhat recalls my attraction to comic-book reading in my youth, but on a much more sophisticated, adult level. Magnifico.
This was fantastic. I loved the use of the birds.
Genius.
Really delightful. Exquisite.
A master-work!
Great thinking, writing, story, and graphic representation.
This is so beautiful. The big butcher with the delicate hands is my favorite character.
What total fun! Beautiful too. And those birds!
This is totally, utterly glorious. I look forward to seeing more from this talented young woman.
An amazing and unique story. The use of the visual is stunning; it takes fiction to another level. I enjoyed this enormously.

Gorgeous. I loved the visual references to other artists and works, and the style and color in general. Really gorgeous.

I love these drawings. So graphic, so simple and intricate at the same time. I'm going to try to find everything she's done.
This was amazing--especially the frames within frames. They made very cool little cinematic character studies.

Very cool!
This is is art imitating life -- a wonderful treat for the senses.
Wonderful, and very inspirational. A great example of story-telling through art.
A dark and delightful work.
Fantastic. I loved it.
Oooooh. Very nice. Loved the ending.

This was wonderful!
This story was absolutely delicious. It was just what I needed at the moment.
The pictures are fantastic.
This graphic novel was great; you took a simple short story and gave it great life. I can't wait to read more.
Let's say that you've got a lot of talent! Amazing!
The eyes at the end. The sister's eyes . . .
