Antonya Nelson's "I.S.O." incorporates the projection of internet dating into the style and structure of this first-rate story. I very much like the juxtaposition of the narrator's relationships with Cory and Misty, as well as the surprising ending.
This is the best story I've read in a while. Katherine and Cory are entirely convincing and real, and the same goes for the rest of the characters. I loved the sullen neighbor. I've never seen the word "Welp" in writing--it was perfect. What a great read.
