Ned Parker is the recipient of the 2006 Narrative Prize for “On to Baghdad,” and “After Saddam.” At present he is a Baghdad correspondent for the Los Angeles Times and has also served as Baghdad bureau chief for the Times of London. Parker was previously based in Iraq from March 2003 to May 2005 as a reporter for the Agence France-Presse. In addition, he has filed extensively from Israel and Palestinian territories.
