Amy Bloom is the author of numerous books, including the novels I’ll Be Right Here (Random House, 2025), Away, Lucky Us, and White Houses; the memoir In Love: A Memoir of Love and Loss; and the short story collection Where the God of Love Hangs Out. Her stories have appeared in Best American Short Stories, The O. Henry Prize Stories, and numerous anthologies. Bloom lives in Connecticut and teaches creative writing at Wesleyan University.

We encouraged all responses, whether wise, humorous, contrary, useful, entertaining, or admonitory.
