Ed Pavlić is the author of several poetry collections, including Winners Have Yet to Be Announced: A Song for Donny Hathaway and But Here Are Small Clear Refractions. In 2009 Winners Have Yet to Be Announced was adapted to the stage by Black Poetic Ventures in Phoenix, Arizona. Pavlić has taught poetry at summer literary seminars in St. Petersburg, Russia, and in Lamu Town, Kenya. He lives in Athens, Georgia.

Chris B’s likely too decent to tell me this. But I know he’s a relatively hairy man. And I don’t know who suggested it. Whose fetish? I know, one night, under candles, you lay him down and shaved every hair from his body. From his toes, up his legs, to his balding gray head. Your hands smoothed the lather and the razor traced every hairy nook he had.
