Shannon Wheeler is the creator of Too Much Coffee Man, an internationally published comic that was the first to become an opera; it was performed in 2006 at the Portland Center of Performing Arts. For mixing up our current coffee obsession with satire and silliness that go far beyond most comics, Wheeler received the prestigious Eisner Award. He is the author of several other cartoon collections, including Postage Stamp Funnies; Wake up and Smell the Cartoons; and most recently, I Thought You Would Be Funnier. Wheeler lives in Portland.
