A Story

I really liked all the sensory details and the undercurrent of anger and ambivalence.

I enjoyed the way the author paints a picture of the small things: you are there with her in the apartment, seeing it through her eyes. Without being maudlin, you can feel the disappointment and the sense of a relationship dying. Would love to hear how they make out later . . . I get the sense that maybe its not over.
