Anthony Marra

Anthony Marra, author of the novel A Constellation of Vital Phenomena and the story collection The Tsar of Love and Techno, grew up in Washington, DC, and has lived and studied in Russia. His story “Chechnya” received both a Pushcart Prize and the Narrative Prize in 2010. His work has appeared in Best American Nonrequired Reading 2012, and in 2013 Marra received the prestigious Whiting Writers’ Award. Marra is a graduate of the Iowa Writers’ Workshop and lives in Oakland, California.
