Bridget Quinn grew up in a large Irish Catholic family in Montana and has lived in Norway, New York, Oregon, and California. Her work appears in the anthologies Two in the Wild: Tales of Adventure from Friends, Mothers, and Daughters; Brain, Child: Greatest Hits; and Solo: On Her Own Adventure. Her essay “Back in the Pool” was a finalist for the 2006 Annie Dillard Award for Creative Nonfiction, and her Narrative memoir “One-on-One” was noted in Best American Sports Writing 2010. Quinn lives with her husband and two children in San Francisco.
