Bridget Quinn

Bridget Quinn is the author of Broad Strokes: 15 Women Who Made Art and Made History (in That Order) (Chronicle Books, 2017). Her essay “Back in the Pool” was a finalist for the 2006 Annie Dillard Award for Creative Nonfiction, and her Narrative memoir, “At Swim, Two Girls,” was included in Best American Sports Writing, 2013. Raised in a family of eleven on the high plains of Montana, Quinn lives in San Francisco with her husband and two children and works at the San Francisco Writers’ Grotto.
