Ada Limón

Ada Limón, who served as the twenty-fourth US Poet Laureate, is the author of numerous poetry collections, including The Carrying, winner of the National Book Critics Circle Award for Poetry, Bright Dead Things, and The Hurting Kind. She has also published a short-form nonfiction book, Against Breaking: On the Power of Poetry (Simon & Schuster, 2026). She lives in Lexington, Kentucky.
