Avia Tadmor, third place winner of Narrative’s Fifteenth Annual Poetry Contest, is the author of the collection Song in Tammuz (Tupelo Press, 2026), which was included in the Best New Poems 2024 anthology. Born in Jerusalem, she holds an MFA in poetry and literacy translation from Columbia University and is a clinical associate professor at New York University.
