Bridget Quinn is the author of Portrait of a Woman: Art, Rivalry & Revolution in the Life of Adélaïde Labille-Guiard (Chronicle, 2024), Broad Strokes: 15 Women Who Made Art and Made History (in That Order), and She Votes: How U.S. Women Won Suffrage, and What Happened Next. Her Narrative memoir “At Swim, Two Girls” was included in Best American Sports Writing, 2013. Raised in a family of eleven on the high plains of Montana, Quinn lives in San Francisco with her family.
