Harold Schweizer is the author of the poetry collection The Book of Stones and Angels, as well as two books of prose, Suffering and the Remedy of Art and On Waiting. Born in Switzerland, he graduated with a PhD in English from the University of Zurich and is professor of English at Bucknell University. The coeditor of the twelve-volume series The Bucknell Lectures in Literary Theory, he was awarded the NEH Chair in the Humanities and the John P. Crozer Professorship in English Literature. He lives in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania.
