Harry Bliss is the internationally syndicated cartoonist of Bliss. Born in upstate New York to a family of successful painters and illustrators, Bliss illustrated Sharon Creech’s A Fine, Fine School, which became a New York Times bestseller. Other bestsellers include Doreen Cronin’s Diary of a Worm, Diary of a Spider, and Diary of a Fly, as well as Louise: The Adventure of a Chicken by Kate DiCamillo. He has also created pictures for esteemed authors William Steig, Robie H. Harris, and Alison McGhee. The author of the cartoon collection Death by Laughter, Bliss lives in Vermont.
