Luisa Muradyan, a finalist in Narrative’s Seventeenth and Eighteenth Annual Poetry Contests, is the author of the poetry collections When the World Stopped Touching (YesYes Books, 2027), I Make Jokes When I’m Devastated (Bridwell, 2025), and American Radiance. She holds a PhD in Poetry from the University of Houston and an MFA in Poetry from Texas State University. Originally from Odesa, Ukraine, she lives and teaches in Kansas City.
