Ocean Vuong, winner of the 2015 Narrative Prize and the 2016 Whiting Writers’ Award, is the author of the novel On Earth We’re Briefly Gorgeous (Penguin, 2019) and the the poetry collection Night Sky with Exit Wounds. He has also written two chapbooks: No and Burnings, an American Library Association’s Over the Rainbow selection. Born in 1988 in Saigon, he came to the United States as a refugee and lives in New York City.
