Robin Romm was born in Eugene, Oregon, and is a graduate of Brown University. Her work includes the memoir The Mercy Papers, chosen as a New York Times Notable Book, a New York Times Editor’s Choice, and a Best Book of the Year by the San Francisco Chronicle. Her story collection, The Mother Garden, was a finalist for the PEN Center USA fiction award. Romm is also the author of a chapbook, The Tilt. She lives in Portland, Oregon.
