Ross Gay

Ross Gay has published several poetry collections, including Bringing the Shovel Down and Catalog of Unabashed Gratitude, winner of the 2015 National Book Critics Circle Award and the 2016 Kingsley Tufts Poetry Award. In addition, he is the author of an essay collection, The Book of Delights (Algonquin, 2019), and the coauthor of two chapbooks, Lace and Pyrite: Letters from Two Gardens and River. Gay is a founding board member of the Bloomington Community Orchard, a nonprofit, free-fruit-for-all food justice project, and teaches at Indiana University.
