Sandra Lloyd was born in Houston, Texas, and educated at the Sorbonne. She attended Stanford University Film School, as well as the New York Institute of Photography and the Rice University Media Center. For PBS she created the program The Twenty-Fifth Anniversary of Public Television. Lloyd lives in San Francisco.
