I read "In That Time" five times. I never do such things . . . maybe read something twice. I read it twice for pure pleasure, then again and again to study a true master at his craft, (it may be true that you can't teach an old dog new tricks, but an old dog can teach himself a few, even at 74, if he observes a good teacher) and the fifth time for pure enjoyment again. Not sure why Bausch was never on my radar, but on the strength of this elegant story I immediately went to Amazon and bought three of his books; after getting into them I will now go back and buy them all. Thank you sir. It was a pleasure getting to know your work. I think I'll read it again, just for good measure.
