I truly enjoyed this story.
A well-crafted story.
I completely burned dinner, because I was so enthralled and overwhelmed with sympathy for Helen and Jesse's painful past!
I was moved and amazed at how easily I was able to feel Helen's fear when she first saw him again at Target, the anger burning in Jesse's confession of allowing his sister's body to be taken away, the anxiety of suspense as Helen was about to confess her dark secret as they lay in bed on their honeymoon.
A great read!
I'm breathless and it's hard to come back to reality. Splendid.
This is a wonderfully written story full of those tiny details that bring the reader into the hearts and minds of the characters.
