Locked in a remote basement closet on the day you are to wed a man you have questions about--could there be a better pretense for an interior monologue?
Very entertaining. Sweet and sour with great symbolism, irony, and lusciously ludicrous situations. All engaged couples should read this thought provoking eye-opener. I'm glad I did!
Emotionally rich, as many-faceted as a jewel, pitch-perfect in tone, subtle and sly...one of the best short stories I have read in some time.
