Craig van Rooyen won the 2014 Rattle Poetry Prize and was a finalist in Narrative’s Eighth Annual Poetry Contest. Born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, he received a BA in journalism from Andrews University in Michigan and an MFA from Pacific University.
