Jill Bialosky is the author of five poetry collections, including The Players and Asylum (2020), as well as three novels, including The Prize. In addition, she is the author of the memoirs History of a Suicide and Poetry Will Save Your Life, and the coauthor of the anthology Wanting a Child. In 2014 she was honored by the Poetry Society of America for her distinguished contribution to poetry. An executive editor and vice president of W. W. Norton, Bialosky lives in New York City.
