Julian Barnes

Julian Barnes is the author of nine novels, including Metroland, winner of the Somerset Maugham Award, and The Sense of an Ending, winner of the Man Booker Prize; two collections of short stories, Cross Channel and The Lemon Table; and a nonfiction meditation on love and death, Levels of Life (2013). In 2011 Barnes was awarded the David Cohen Prize for Literature in recognition of a lifetime’s achievement. He lives in London.
