Meagan Macvie, born and raised in Soldotna, Alaska, is the author of the novel The Ocean in My Ears. She earned a BA in English literature from the University of Idaho and an MFA in fiction from Pacific Lutheran University and lives with her husband and daughter in the Netherlands.
