Under the Volcano

Under the Volcano

JANUARY 10—20, 2019
Under the Volcano begins on a Thursday evening with a festive welcome dinner. Participants arriving from abroad are strongly encouraged to arrive in Tepoztlán a day or two before so they are fully rested by the time workshops begin. Our core master classes convene on both Friday and Saturday, opening onto a weekend of literary celebration in selected venues, including the UNESCO World Heritage Museo del Ex-Convento de Tepoztlán and the bilingual bookstore, La Sombra del Sabino. Sunday is free for writing, revising, relaxation, or solitude and time to explore the village on its main market day.
